Awards

The 2nd Edition of Chiplun Half Marathon 2025 features a total prize pool of ₹6,28,000/- and 102 trophies, celebrating outstanding performances across all age categories. All Timed Finishers will receive Medals and e-Certificates as a token of achievement and participation.

Rules and Regulations

Rules of the Marathon

1. The finish positions of all runners will be based on Chip Time (not Gun Time).
2. This Marathon is limited only for Indian runners

1. “The first three Half Marathon finishers from Open category (18 and above) will be eligible to prize money as per table 1.”
2.”The first three Half Marathon finishers from age group category (age 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60 & 61 and above) will be permitted to prize money as per table 2 ”
3. ” If a runner from a General Age Group category (age 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60 & 61 and above) finish among the first three positions in the Open category (18 and above), they will be entitled to receive the prize from the Open category only.”
4. “Bib tag timing is captured across all timing points on the course, including the start and finish mats.”
5. “Physical verification may be conducted by technical officials at any time”
6. The race organizers will visually screen images after the race to ensure that participants are wearing their correctly assigned running bibs. If any participant is found wearing a bib not allotted to them, they will be disqualified from the race and barred from participating in future editions of the Event.
7. If runners are found to have interchanged their running number bib or bib tag with others, they will be disqualified from the competition and will not be entitled to any timing results or prize
money.
8. Prize winners declared may be required to provide additional proof of identity or age, as requested by the organizers, before receiving their prize money.
9. Winners must keep their bibs clearly visible during the prize distribution, ensuring they are not covered by jackets or other clothing.
10. All finishers of the half marathon race category will receive a finisher medal after their run. Please ensure to collect your medal before leaving the venue.
11. Medals will not be posted to individual runners. They must be collected in person at the venue on race day.
12. Provisional results will be available on race day.
13. All participants are fully aware of the risks involved in this competition. As participation is voluntary, the organization is not responsible for any incidents or accidents that may occur.
14. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Race Director will be final.
15. No tobacco, alcohol, or any other banned substance is permitted at the event.
16. Event officials reserve the right to modify, supplement, or waive all or part of the
event rules.
17. Participants must provide photo identification when picking up their race kit to verify
their identity as the registrant to whom the BIB number is assigned.

1. Athletes or their representatives have the right to appeal the official race results by submitting a written appeal along with Rs. 1000/- fee to the Race Referee within 30 minutes of the official announcement on race day.
2. The organizer’s decision regarding rankings and prize money entitlements will be final and binding on all participants.
3. If any questions or controversies arise that are not addressed by the existing rules, the organizer’s decision will be final.
4. In case any question arises or controversy exists that is not already covered by the prize/ranking rules, the decision of the Organiser’s (Sangharsha Krida Mandal) will be FINAL.
5. Any disputes arising from this marathon shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chiplun, Maharashtra.
